Durable, quiet, and moisture-tolerant vacuum solutions
Liquid ring vacuum pumps are ideal for demanding applications involving wet gases, vapors, or particulate-laden air. With a simple and rugged design, they offer smooth, low-maintenance performance in harsh industrial environments.
Operating principle of liquid ring compressor vacuum pumps
- Eccentric rotor and liquid ring
An eccentrically mounted rotor spins inside a partially liquid-filled chamber. - Formation of compression chambers
Centrifugal force creates a rotating liquid ring, forming sealed chambers of varying volume between the rotor and the ring. - Gas suction
In the intake phase, increasing chamber volume draws gas into the pump. - Compression
As the rotor continues turning, the chambers shrink, compressing the gas. - Exhaust
Compressed gas exits through the discharge port; some liquid may be recirculated.
Key Advantages
Handles wet, contaminated gases
Ideal for condensing vapors, saturated gas, and chemical-laden air.
Self-priming and robust
Works reliably under fluctuating or wet inlet conditions.
Quiet and low-vibration
Liquid dampening ensures smooth and silent operation.
ATEX-compliant & explosion-proof
No sparks or friction points—safe for hazardous zones.
Low maintenance
Minimal moving parts, no oil changes (for water-sealed types).
Economical operation
Cost-effective for large volumes, especially in continuous use.
Durable under harsh conditions
Resistant to fouling and suitable for 24/7 duty.
